American Institute of Chemical Engineers

The American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) is a nonprofit organization for chemical engineers and chemical engineering students. The West Virginia University student chapter travels to regional and national conferences to make professional contacts while providing a positive representation of the University, the College of Engineering and Mineral Resources, its students, and its faculty. The AIChE students tour various chemical plants to further understand about the chemical engineering profession. The chapter is also concerned with aiding the surrounding area of Morgantown through many acts of community service.
